The Cherry Street Cottages and Shlenker House provide visitors with
a convenient location, as well as the comfort, privacy, and charm of
a turn-of-the 19th Century neighborhood. There are sidewalks
and street lights and, if you want to jog or take a walk, your
front door is the place to start. We are in a historic,
beautiful neighborhood. Bring your camera!

A bank, a dry
cleaners, and antique shop are just blocks away. It is only five minutes to
Historic Downtown Vicksburg, most of the city's attractions and
shopping, and the public library.
The site
of the cottages and main house, which are furnished with antiques,
collectibles, family pieces and collectable art by Southern
artists, is considered by some to be a
veritable floral showcase, with more the 300 different plants,
most of them blooming variety.
All cottages are painstakingly decorated and feature queen-sized beds, private phones, cable TV,
central air and heat, ceiling fans, tubs and showers and complete kitchen
including stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave oven, and
pots, pans and dishes.
We are a favorite for long-term
guests! Each room is fully equipped for a comfortable stay
with hide-a-beds in each sitting room and off-street parking for
