Inside
and out, this Shlenker House special cottage makes use of the rose motif.
Right out the back door and across the yard is a collection
of antique roses that bloom practically all year. The
oldest is the green rose, whose ancestors date back to the
15th century.
The
view from the sitting room offers, along with a graceful
crepe myrtle, the yellow rose of Texas (kerria) and an
antique red rose that only blooms in the spring. Often
in view are families of feeding birds and frolicking
squirrels.
The
fully furnished kitchen includes stove, refrigerator,
coffeemaker, microwave, pots, pans, dishes and dishwasher, washer, dryer,
iron, ironing board, and clock radio.
A
private telephone, cable television, and hide-a-bed sofa are
also available in the sitting room.
$115
per night, 1 BR and 1 Bath, up to two persons.
